Enquiry form
A website enquiry form that tells you every enquiry arrived.
For a service business, a website enquiry is a job, a booking or a quote. Heartdove saves every enquiry to an inbox before it emails you, then shows whether that email was delivered or bounced. If an alert does not arrive, the enquiry is still there and the reason is on screen.

How enquiries go missing
Most website enquiry forms send an email and keep nothing else. When that email lands in a spam folder, goes to an address nobody checks any more, or bounces because a mailbox is full, the enquiry is gone and nothing on the website tells you. You find out when a customer rings to ask why nobody replied, or you never find out.
An enquiry form should do two jobs: keep the enquiry, and tell you whether you were told about it.
A ready-made enquiry form
This template asks for what most service businesses need: name, email, an optional phone number, the kind of enquiry, the details, and how the customer prefers to be contacted. Change the options to match your services, add your access key and the address of your thank-you page, and paste it into your website.

</form>- Any field you add is kept. Up to 50 fields, each shown in the inbox and in the alert under the name you gave it.
- The thank-you page must be on a website you registered for the form.
- Style it however you like. Heartdove adds nothing to your page; your website builder or CSS controls the look.
On WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow or Shopify, paste the form into a Custom HTML, Code, Embed or Custom Liquid block. See the platform guides for specifics.
Where enquiries go
- An instant email for every enquiry, on every plan including Free.
- An inbox that keeps every enquiry, searchable, with a status (new, in progress, done), notes and tags, so you can see what still needs a reply.
- A delivery timeline on each enquiry: captured, accepted by the email provider, delivered, or bounced with the reason. A bounced address is paused and shown as a warning.
Busy months
If you receive more enquiries than your plan includes, the extra ones are not turned away. They are saved, shown as held, and released automatically when your allowance resets or you upgrade. There is no overage bill. Free includes 500 enquiries a month; Pro includes 5,000.
Spam, without a CAPTCHA
Customers should not have to solve a puzzle to ask for a quote. Heartdove accepts enquiries only from your registered website, rate limits each visitor, and catches bots with the hidden trap field and spam scoring. Anything suspicious goes to a review tab instead of your email, where you can release it or block the sender. Cloudflare Turnstile is optional for very busy forms. How the spam checks work.
Customers’ details, handled carefully
Enquiries carry names, phone numbers and plans. Each form sets how long enquiries are kept, within your plan’s maximum, and privacy mode keeps no content in the inbox at all. Submissions are stored in the United States; the security page and privacy policy list the details.
Questions
Is there a free enquiry form?
Yes. Heartdove Free includes 500 enquiries a month with an instant email for each, 90 days of history, delivery tracking and spam protection. No card is needed.
Can I use this as an online inquiry form?
Yes; enquiry and inquiry forms are the same thing. Rename the fields and button to suit your audience.
Can the customer get a confirmation email?
Not from Heartdove today. The customer sees your thank-you page, or a plain confirmation page if you do not set one.
Can several people receive the alerts?
Not yet. Today alerts go to one verified email address. On the Team plan, up to 10 people can share the inbox by email invitation; extra alert recipients are planned.
Do enquiries still arrive if my email bounces?
Yes. The enquiry is saved before any email is sent. The bounce is shown on the enquiry with its reason, and that address is paused until you fix it.
